"I dwell in possibility" is the heart and soul of our program and our ponies. Today is "Throw Back Thursday" in the world of social media and what better way to remember the past than to honor some of the history of our UK Shetlands.

I encourage you all to visit the link below and take a look at this museum in Sunderland, England. Maybe this is a place we will go when we make our trip to our ponies homeland in 2016. It gives a nice history of our ponies. If need be, you may have to cut and paste this link into your browser.

Many of you may not know that the first two ponies in our program, Cupcake and Casey, were descendants of Shetlands imported to America in 1884 from the Londonderry Stud. (Pictured above is Lord Londonderry's prize stud, Jack, age 16, 40 inches tall) Also, many of you may not know that our founders personal intent in creating our program was to make reparation for the inhumane treatment that thousands of Shetland Ponies received when sent into the mines for some thirty years – a life sentence.
